Luka Doncic after the Dallas Mavericks’ victory over the Orlando Magic touched upon the topic of learning from Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd.
The Slovenian basketball player doesn’t hide his desire to improve all aspects of his game, both on a team and individual level.
“This was an extremely tough and important victory for us. We need to continue to fight and play good defense. We have a long road ahead of us. I want everything to look even better on the court,” said Luka Doncic.

The first star of the Dallas Mavericks is having a dream start to the season, as evidenced by his averages of 32 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game.
As an ideal role model for all players in the NBA, Doncic highlighted the Dallas legend, Dirk Nowitzki.
“I was fortunate to play one season together with him. What he did for the Dallas Mavericks is incredible, and by that, I don’t mean just what he achieved as a basketball player but also as a person. I think Nowitzki should be a role model for every player in the league,” said Doncic.
He also mentioned the advice he receives from Jason Kidd.
“He’s been in my shoes, he knows what it’s all about. He’s regarded as one of the best playmakers in the world. I’m happy to have the opportunity to listen to him,” Doncic said.
