Luka Doncic took the opportunity to praise Dante Exum for his outstanding performances, which significantly contribute to the game and results of the Dallas Mavericks.
The Slovenian basketball player emphasizes that the former Partizan player is truly incredible on the court, with a particular focus on his basketball IQ.
“He’s incredible, man, everything so far has been phenomenal. He’s not good; he’s phenomenal. His basketball IQ is insane. Drives, floaters, three-pointers… I’m really happy he’s part of this team; he’s a real reinforcement,” highlighted Luka Doncic.
Jason Kidd, the coach of the Dallas Mavericks, added to Doncic’s words:
“He’s a basketball player; we try to keep it simple. I know there’s a popular phrase people like to use, but he’s a basketball player. He plays his role, wants to be a star in his role. It’s pretty cool because he’s not a ‘max’ player, but he plays like a ‘max’ player. It’s beautiful to watch, he deserves everything he gets. Expectations were huge when he was drafted at 18, but sometimes people need a little more time.”
The Dallas Mavericks are currently seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 19 wins and 15 losses in the NBA.
Dante Exum averages 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
