In the EuroLeague Round 30, Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Asvel on their home court with a score of 98:90.
Roman Sorkin was missing this game for the Israeli team. Mike Scott could not play for Asvel.
Both teams entered the game with an attacking mindset, and there was practically an even battle throughout the first half. The halftime score was 49:47 in favor of the visiting team. Asvel confidently held onto the lead until entering the final quarter of the game when first Bonzie Colson scored nine consecutive points, and then Wade Baldwin added his eight points. The hosts then won the game with a score of 98:90.
The top scorers for Oded Katash’s team were Wade Baldwin with 30 points and 10 assists, and Bonzie Colson with 23 points. Josh Nebo was again dominant with 18 points and 10 rebounds. In Pierric Poupet’s team, the standout performer was Nando De Colo with 18 points.
In the next round, Maccabi Tel Aviv will play against Bayern away, while Asvel will travel to face Olympiacos.
