Tenerife secured a crucial win against Hapoel Jerusalem in the fourth Round of Group K in the FIBA Champions League by 95:92.
Tenerife started the game strong, leading by three points at the end of the first quarter (24:21). Marcelinho Huertas played exceptionally well in the second quarter, giving his team a double-digit lead at halftime by 46:34.
Hapoel Jerusalem dominated the closing moments of the third period, reducing the deficit to just six points going into the decisive final 10 minutes (66:60). The Israeli team started the fourth quarter strong, managing to overturn the deficit with a 9:2 run (69-68). The teams traded leads in the final minutes, with Kyle Guy and Joan Sastre ultimately securing the win for the home team.
Marcelinho Huertas finished the game with 24 points, closely followed by Joan Sastre with 22 points. Levi Randolph stood out for Hapoel Jerusalem with 20 points.
Hapoel Jerusalem and Tenerife now occupy the first and second positions in Group K with a record of three wins and one loss each.
