Mark Daigneault, head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, has won the NBA Coach of the Year award after a brilliant season with a very young team.
This season, the Oklahoma City Thunder had a record of 57-25, which is a significant improvement compared to the previous season when the team had a record of 40-42.
Chris Finch led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a record of 56-26 and third place in the Western Conference after last year having to reach the playoffs through the play-in.
Also, the Orlando Magic made significant progress. In the previous season, they finished 13th in the East with a record of 34-48. However, this season the team has been playing brilliantly and finished in 5th place in the East with a record of 47-35.
