Yogi Ferrell, the American point guard, is the new player for Buducnost and will compete for the club in the ABA League and EuroCup.
The American basketball player is familiar to basketball fans in the region from his time with Cedevita Olimpija, where he averaged 16.2 points and six assists in the ABA League. Last season, he won the MVP title of the Slovenian League finals and was also the top scorer in the EuroCup.
Following his stint in Ljubljana, Yogi Ferrell joined the Shanghai Sharks but terminated his contract to strengthen Buducnost, despite earlier media speculations of him joining Partizan.
Ferrell has been performing well, averaging 14.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game since the start of the season.
As a reminder, the former Cedevita Olimpija player has had a diverse career, playing for teams such as the Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Panathinaikos.
