Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets player, spoke to the media before the start of the NBA Western Conference semifinals series.
Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets are set to face the Minnesota Timberwolves. This will be a rematch of last year’s Western Conference quarterfinals, where the Nuggets prevailed 4-1.
Michael Porter Jr. was one of the best players for the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 22.8 points on over 55% shooting from the field. Now he faces a duel with the Timberwolves, a team full of excellent defenders, including Jaden McDaniels.
“I’m surer he will start on Jamal Murray, but I feel comfortable with anyone guarding me. The way I play, I don’t feel like he’ll be able to block my shot or anything. Whoever’s on me, if I come with the right mentality I’ll be alright,” Porter Jr. said.
Game 1 of the series between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves will take place on Sunday morning at 1:00.
