Milano defeated Valencia in the seventh round of the EuroLeague with the score 83-52 in front of their home crowd.
Before the game, it was announced that Billy Baron and Kevin Pangos would not be playing for Milano. Martin Hermannsson and Chris Jones did not play for Valencia due to injury.
Nikola Mirotic immediately asserted himself at the beginning of the game, showcasing his phenomenal form. He scored an impressive 14 points in that period, including two successful three-pointers. On the other side of the court, Milano performed excellently in defense, limiting Valencia to just 12 points. The score at the end of the first quarter was already 23:12 in favor of the home team.
Entering the second quarter, Kyle Hines and Stefano Tonut initiate a new scoring run for Milano, further extending their lead. During this period, Damien Inglis contributes with four consecutive points, keeping Alex Mumbru’s team in the game. Maodo Lo follows up with a layup, and Ricci adds a three-pointer as Milan takes a 40:22 lead.
Nikola Mirotic returned to the game and picked up right where he left off, hitting another three-pointer. The halftime score was 44:31 in favor of Milan.

Entering the later stages of the game, Milano did not ease off the gas but further confirmed their dominance over today’s opponent. The lively performance of the home team is evident from the fact that four out of five starters scored points at the beginning of the second half. Valencia continued to struggle, shooting just two out of 10 from the field in the third quarter. Milano won the third period with a score of 20-8.
In the last quarter, the intensity level dropped sharply due to the home team’s significant lead, so everyone was just waiting for the end of the game. Brandon Davies scored seven points in a row, while on the other side, Johannes Voigtmann woke up with two consecutive three-pointers. The score in the last quarter was 19-13.
Mirotic scored 19 points and had seven rebounds, while Voigtmann contributed nine points. On the other hand, Jared Harper scored 11 points, he was closely followed by Brandon Davies with 9 points.
In the next round, the Valencia will face Real Madrid, while Milano will play against Virtus Bologna.
