Former Milwaukee Bucks coach Adrian Griffin has been dismissed from his position, as reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Adrian Griffin took over the team before the start of this season after serving as a longtime assistant with the Toronto Raptors. Despite bolstering their roster with Damian Lillard in an effort to pursue another championship ring, things evidently did not go as planned, despite a very respectable record.
The team went through a period of adjustment at the beginning of the season, experiencing both prosperity and fluctuations, ultimately leading to Griffin’s dismissal.
That things weren’t going perfectly could have been noticed even before the start of the season when Terry Stotts stepped down from the coaching staff.
As reported by The Athletic, the Milwaukee Bucks have swiftly prepared a replacement, considering that Doc Rivers could potentially end his hiatus and take on a new challenge.
The Milwaukee Bucks currently hold the second position in the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-13.
