The Minnesota Timberwolves have finalized a deal with PJ Dozier, a free agent guard, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The contract spans one year and is expected to be at the minimum salary, reflecting the team’s current salary cap constraints.

PJ Dozier brings a wealth of experience as a six-year NBA veteran, holding career averages of 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. His tenure in the league has been primarily with the Denver Nuggets, where he played 97 out of 121 career games. Notably, he has crossed paths with former Nuggets executive Tim Connelly, now guiding operations for the Timberwolves.
During the 2020/21 season, Dozier excelled as a key reserve for the Nuggets, averaging 7.7 points in 21.8 minutes per game across 50 appearances. However, a torn ACL sidelined him the following season, leading to subsequent trades and waivers. He briefly featured for the Sacramento Kings in ’22/23, appearing in 16 games before moving to Partizan, where he maintained a strong performance with 9.2 points per game last season.
