Marousi, propelled by Miroslav Raduljica, defeated PAOK in an away game in the Greek Basket League Round 13th by 85:79.
The game was suspenseful from the first to the last minute. PAOK concluded the first quarter with a 9:0 run, establishing a significant lead (21:14). Marousi managed to find a better offensive rhythm in the following period, but PAOK went into halftime with a satisfying lead of 42:38.
Despite a 10:0 run in the third quarter, Marousi once again failed to completely erase the deficit (60:59). A significantly improved performance by the visiting team, especially offensively, secured a crucial win for Marousi in the closing moments of the match, ending with a score of 85:79.
Andrew Harrison was the top scorer for PAOK with 17 points, while Miroslav Raduljica stood out for Maroussi with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. In the visiting team, Isaiah Briscoe also had a strong performance, contributing 18 points.
Marousi is currently ranked eighth in the Greek league with a record of 5-8, while PAOK holds the fourth position with six wins and seven losses.
In the upcoming round, PAOK will be playing away against Peristeri, while Marousi is set to host Promitheas.
In the second game of the day, AS Karditsas convincingly defeated the Promitheas by 101:72.
