Uros Trifunovic suffered a hamstring rupture during the game against Alba Berlin in the ninth round of the EuroLeague.
The Serbian basketball player is expected to take a break of approximately 20 days, and the club from Humska issued a statement regarding the injury:
“Partizan’s guard Uros Trifunovic suffered an injury during the game against Alba Berlin, which will require him to be sidelined and undergo therapy. In the late stages of the second quarter, Trifunovic experienced a hamstring rupture that necessitates rest and therapeutic treatment.
In ten days, Uros Trifunovic will undergo a follow-up examination, after which more detailed prognoses regarding the length of his absence from the team will be possible.”
Uros Trifunovic averages 3.3 points per game in the EuroLeague, whereas in the ABA League, he maintains an average of 6.3 points per game.
Partizan is gearing up for a match against Cedevita Olimpija in two days, followed by a showdown against Anadolu Efes.
