Already after the first half, Monaco’s win and Nanterre’s fifth defeat seemed imminent, as the home team, creatively inspired on offense, led 53-36. At the start of the second half, the visitors threatened, narrowing the gap to 53-43 after a 7-0 run. With 10 minutes remaining, Monaco maintained a 72-62 lead.
In the final 10 minutes, Monaco held on to their ten-point advantage, securing a 91-82 victory, although the guests managed to reduce the deficit to four points in the closing moments.
Jordan Loyd had an outstanding game, scoring 29 points and grabbing seven rebounds, while Matthew Strazel contributed 11 points, and Mouhammadou Jaiteh added 10.
On the opposing side, Juhann Begarin scored 21 points, Ibrahima Faye added 20, and Desi Rodriguez contributed 11 points.
