Montenegro defeated the Bahamas 93:80 in a friendly game ahead of the Olympic Games qualifiers at the Acropolis tournament in Greece.
The Bahamas played a great first half, especially defensively, and led 43:35 after 20 minutes of play. However, the team led by Bosko Radovic from the bench played fantastically in the second half. They scored 58 points in that period and deservedly won the game where the Bahamas were considered heavy favorites.
Marko Simonovic was instrumental in his country’s win with 20 points, while Nikola Vucevic and Kendrick Perry each scored 15 points.
Franco Miller contributed 20 points for the defeated team, while AJ Storr scored 15. Deandre Ayton, after scoring 11 points for the Bahamas in the first half, did not play, and on the court were NBA stars Buddy Hield and Eric Gordon.
Earlier in the day, two more friendly games were played, with Croatia defeating Brazil and Latvia beating Egypt.
