Moustapha Fall has sustained an injury that will sideline him for the rest of the season.
According to Olympiacos’ statement, it is a fracture of the fourth metatarsal bone in his left foot. Naturally, this injury means that Moustapha Fall will not be available to coach Georgios Bartzokas for the remainder of the season.
A significant problem for Olympiacos is that they previously decided to make Moses Wright the “excess” player before the start of the playoffs.
The only center for Olympiacos for the rest of the playoffs will be Nikola Milutinov.
So far this season, Fall has averaged 7.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Olympiacos will begin their Greek Basket League semifinal series on May 30, where they will play against Peristeri. If they advance to the finals, they will face the winner of the Panathinaikos vs. Aris semifinal series.
