Following their win over Asvel in the quarterfinals, Nanterre once again displayed resilience in the semifinals, coming back from behind to earn the opportunity to compete for the trophy. They now await the winner of the game between Monaco and Paris in the final.
Nanterre has demonstrated throughout this season that they are a team with character, never willing to give up. This was evident once again in the semifinal game against Bourg. Trailing 77-67 after three quarters, it seemed like a different Nanterre team emerged on the court in the final quarter. They immediately went on a 14-0 run to take an 81-77 lead. While Bourg came close at 86-84, Nanterre responded, ultimately securing a 95-88 win.
Senegalese player Ibrahim Fall-Faye led his team to win with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Juhann Begarin contributed 19 points and Justin Bibbins scored 18 points. On the other side, Isiaha Mike was the top performer with 23 points, followed by Zaccharie Risacher with 16 points and Bodian Massa with 15 points.
