The NBA has announced the top three lineups for the 2023/2024 competitive season, and one particularly interesting fact stands out among these 15 names.
Namely, what caught the attention from across the pond is that among these 15 names, there are representatives from a total of 12 NBA draft generations.
Representing the oldest generations is undoubtedly LeBron James (NBA draft 2003), and from the 2000s, there are only Kevin Durant (2007) and Steph Curry (2009).
Three players in the top three lineups are from the 2018 generation – Luka Doncic, Jalen Brunson, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The two youngest in these teams entered the NBA league through the 2020 draft – Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton.
First lineup: Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Second lineup: Jalen Brunson, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard.
Third lineup: Devin Booker, Tyrese Haliburton, LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, and Steph Curry.
