Nemanja Nedovic has shared his expectations ahead of the seventh round of the EuroLeague, in which Crvena Zvezda will face Barcelona.
Nemanja Nedovic had only words of praise for the team from Catalonia, which has only one loss in the new season.
“We are facing a team that has been playing great this season. I’ve watched a few games, and they don’t have any standout stars, but they are powerful as a team and play well, so, you know… We’re going there to play a good game. Of course, we respect them, but we’re not afraid, and we’re aware of what a win there would mean to us,” said Nemanja Nedovic.
Nedovic also commented on Barcelona’s play under the coaching of Roger Grimau.
“It seems to me that they play more as a team this year, precisely because Nikola Mirotic left, Higgins is no longer there, and there’s a new coach. In the few games I’ve watched, they seemed to be working together on the court, everyone knows their role and does it exceptionally well. They have Spanish players coming off the bench, and they certainly feel the jersey in the right way. I really like them as a team and how they’ve been playing so far.”
Nemanja Nedovic mentioned the ongoing collaboration with coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos, stating:
“Well, we haven’t had any major changes yet. Coach has only been here for two weeks, and we are still working on some details. You can’t change everything overnight. We’ve retained some things we had under Dusko Ivanovic and introduced some new ones… But, as I said, we’re trying to crystallize what he wants, and I think it’s too early to talk about it.”
The game between Barcelona and Crvena Zvezda is scheduled for Friday at 20:30.
