Nick Nurse, the coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, injured his right finger. It’s unclear whether he broke a bone or just sprained it.
The injury occurred when the coach angrily hit his fist on a chair. As reported by Ian Bagley from “SNY,” the NBA champion with the Toronto Raptors couldn’t grip the marker properly and couldn’t draw plays.
Incredibly, but true, this is the second injury for the coach in just four days. Chris Finch, the coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, tore his patellar tendon when his player Mike Conley accidentally collided with him.
The series returns to the “City of Brotherly Love.” Nick Nurse and his Philadelphia 76ers must win the sixth game to bring the series back to the “Madison Square Garden.”
