Nikola Jokic delivered another outstanding performance in the NBA while playing for the Denver Nuggets, who triumphed over the Toronto Raptors with a score of 113:104.
Denver secured their fifth victory in the last six games in Toronto, and the most deserving player was certainly Serbian basketball star Nikola Jokic, who achieved a double-double, marking his 400th in the NBA. Interestingly, Denver hadn’t won in Toronto since December 2018.
Jokic finished the game with 31 points, along with 15 rebounds and six assists. This marked the first time he scored 30 or more points against Toronto, making him the Serbian center to achieve this feat against every NBA team.
Jamal Murray closely followed with 20 points, while Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. contributed 12 points each.
“That’s Nikola Jokic, it’s nothing new. He does it night after night in the NBA,” said Darko Rajakovic, the head coach of the Toronto Raptors, about his compatriot.
Scottie Barnes recorded 30 points and 10 rebounds, and Pascal Siakam added 18 points for the defeated team.
