Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokic was ejected from the game against the Chicago Bulls, which the Denver Nuggets later won 114-106 in the NBA.
Jokic had a brilliant performance until that moment. Despite not taking many shots (2/5 from the field), he contributed with four points, nine rebounds, and six assists in 16 minutes on the court.
With less than a minute remaining in the first half, the Serbian center said something to the referees after a perceived missed contact in a duel against Nikola Vucevic.

It seemed that the dispute between the referees and Nikola Jokic was harmless, but a quick turnaround followed. The two-time league MVP was ejected, leaving his team without two key players (Jamal Murray injured), and they had to seek a victory in Chicago.
In the end, they achieved it, thanks to Reggie Jackson, who took responsibility and scored 25 points, while Michael Porter Jr added 17. Coby White led the home team with 27 points, and Vucevic stopped at 26.
The Denver Nuggets are now fourth in the West with a record of 16-9, while the Chicago Bulls are 12th in the East with 9-16.
