One of the best NBA players, Nikola Jokic, spoke after the game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA league.
Jokic was instrumental in his team’s victory, taking advantage of Joel Embiid’s absence from the opposing team for the fifth consecutive year in Colorado.
“I just asked him how he was. If you’re a fan of any sport, any team, you have to appreciate what he’s doing, which is historic. The Philadelphia 76ers have very professional players, some who have been there for a long time and others who are new, but they all wanted to play. They fought. We had a game after a series of away games. It was tough, but the second half was fantastic.
They scored 40-45 points, that’s why we won. To be honest, the absence of their players didn’t affect me that much. We know what they are capable of; we have lost to much weaker teams, so we can’t relax. No game is easy since I came here,” said Jokic.
The Denver Nuggets are currently the third team in the Western Conference with a record of 32-15, while the Philadelphia 76ers are the third team in the Eastern Conference with a record of 29-15.
