Nikola Milutinov, the center of Olympiacos, suffered an injury during the Greek League game against Panathinaikos.
Olympiacos lost the match to their arch-rivals 85-80, and besides the defeat, they also lost the Serbian center Nikola Milutinov, who had an ankle sprain.
The Serbian center was returning to defense and exchanged greetings with Kostas Papanikolaou, the team captain. Somehow, he got entangled with the captain of Olympiacos and immediately ended up on the court in pain.
According to the latest information, it is an ankle sprain, and he is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks. Prior to him, Olympiacos had already lost another center, Moustapha Fall, who is not playing due to a knee injury. Consequently, it is expected that the Greek team will seek reinforcement, at least for a shorter period.
Milutinov has an average of 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague this season, and he was the MVP of the last round when he had a performance of 20 points and 20 rebounds against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
