Oded Kattash shared his impressions at the press conference after Maccabi Tel Aviv’s defeat against Baskonia.
Oded Kattash was disappointed with the way his team approached the game.
“I feel really bad about how we played. We didn’t deserve to win, we weren’t focused, we didn’t use fouls properly. They wanted the win more than we did. We know that anything can happen in the second game of the double round, but tonight, from the start, we weren’t there. We have enough experience, we’ve been together for the second year.
If we want to achieve something, we can’t play like this. The way we were supposed to stop their transition, play in the paint… We play every other day, but we’re better than this. We have excuses, but we won’t use them. Heads up, and let’s move on.”
In the next round, Maccabi Tel Aviv plays against Anadolu Efes on the road, while Baskonia hosts Asvel.
