Oded Kattash has signed a new two-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, as confirmed on the club’s official website.
The Israeli coach has led Maccabi Tel Aviv successfully for two consecutive years, prompting the club’s management to reward him with a new two-year deal.
“I am happy and proud to have signed a new two-year contract. I appreciate all of it. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and ready for the challenges that lie ahead. We are all focused on the task at hand, which is winning the national championship,” said Oded Kattash.
The club’s president, Shimon Mizrahi, also shared his thoughts.
“It seems natural and obligatory for Oded Kattash to continue being the coach of this team. The past season has further strengthened him. He managed to solidify and improve the relationship with the players despite the difficult circumstances we faced. He has navigated this entire period with significant achievements. I wish him success.”
The sports director of the Tel Aviv team was extremely pleased that the two sides reached an agreement to continue their cooperation.
“I am glad that Kattash will be with us for another two years. He has long been a part of our family, and there is no need to elaborate on the challenges he faced this season. Today, he is a coach at the top of the EuroLeague. I am optimistic. I believe this cooperation will continue to yield good results,” said Avi Even.
