Oded Kattash, head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, spoke before the Game 3 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals, where his team will face Panathinaikos.
Maccabi Tel Aviv is satisfied as they await the next two games against Panathinaikos. They have made a breakthrough in the first game of this series, and with eventual two wins, they could qualify for the Final Four.
“I think we’re ready for the continuation of the series. In the second game, Panathinaikos played more aggressively and energetically. They showed a reaction in the second game, now it’s time for us to react too. We allowed them too many points from second chances, we’re better than that.
We have to wait until Tuesday to see if Wade Baldwin will be ready, his MRI is scheduled for then, so we’ll know more. Today he had treatment, we’ll see how he reacts after practice. His absence is significant,” said Oded Kattash.
The Game 3 of this series will take place on Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Belgrade at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall. The Game 4 is scheduled for May 2nd at 8:45 PM at the same venue. If a decider is necessary, it will be played in Athens. That game is scheduled for May 8th.
