Oded Kattash, the head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, spoke after his team’s game against Valencia in the 32nd round of the EuroLeague.
Maccabi Tel Aviv recorded a convincing win against Valencia, winning 95:80, and now, with their sixth consecutive triumph, they stand at 19 wins and 13 losses for the season.
“This win is very important for us. We knew even before this game that it would be difficult to beat them. They are physically strong, and I think apart from the first quarter, we did a good job defensively, and it was a team effort, so I’m very happy with the win,” said Oded Kattash.
Wade Baldwin led with 17 points, followed by Josh Nebo with 15, and Jasiel Rivero and Antonius Cleveland each contributed 10. On the other side, Semi Ojeleye scored 15, Kassius Robertson had 13, and Damien Inglis scored 12 points.
In the next-to-last round, Valencia will host Asvel, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will visit Barcelona.
