Isaiah Canaan officially parted ways with Olympiacos today and signed a two-year contract with Crvena Zvezda.
The experienced American guard is the second addition to the red and whites this summer, as the club from Mali Kalemegdan first signed Uros Plavsic. Meanwhile, Crvena Zvezda extended contracts with Rokas Giedraitis, Branko Lazic, and Milos Teodosic.
Isaiah Canaan is 33 years old, and during his rich career, he played for the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, as well as Unics, Galatasaray, and Olympiacos.
Last season in the EuroLeague, the American averaged 11.1 points per game. With the Pireaus red and whites he has won the Greek League, two Supercups and two Cups of Greece. He was selected as an All-Star of the Greek League last year and has won the MVP award.
