Kevin Punter has officially joined Barcelona after he left Partizan yesterday and the deal is set to be for only one year.
The American guard has officially left the black and whites yesterday and now has signed for the Blaugrana, which the club announced on social media.
He was an integral part of Partizan’s ABA League winning campaign. They defeated their arch rival Crvena Zvezda in five games and Punter was the MVP of the Finals. In the 2023-24 EuroLeague season, Punter averaged 15.0 points (53.1% 2FG, 35.0% 3FG), 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in 29 minutes per game.
This will be his first time playing in Spain. Kevin Punter played in Lavrio, AEK, Crvena Zvezda, Virtus, Antwerp Giants, Olympiacos, Milano and Rosa Radom. He is Barcelona’s first summer aquisition. They also hired head coach Joan Penarroya.
