Maccabi Tel Aviv will host its EuroLeague games in Belgrade, as confirmed by the “Pride of Israel.”
The Israeli club will play its matches in the capital of Serbia as long as the conflict in their country continues, with no clear end in sight.
This decision was made today during a meeting in Turkey, where the “Aleksandar Nikolic” arena was declared the new (temporary) home of Maccabi.
Maccabi Tel Aviv will play its first home game on November 9th, hosting Bayern. The Serbian government and the city of Belgrade have supported the idea of hosting the “Pride of Israel” at the “Aleksandar Nikolic” arena, and they will work in the coming period to ensure the safety and security of the players and coaching staff of the club.
