The EuroLeague game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Milano, scheduled for next week, has been officially postponed.
The reason for the postponement of these games is the state of war in effect in Israel. The leaders of ‘Pride of Israel’ sought a solution in this truly difficult situation that has befallen the country. All sports events in the country have been suspended until further notice. Clubs have allowed foreigners to leave this country.
The match between Hapoel Tel Aviv and the Wolves has also been postponed. This match was supposed to take place in the second round of the EuroCup, but it too has been postponed. The match was scheduled for October 11th.
Just a reminder, Maccabi Tel Aviv won the first round of the EuroLeague 96-81 against Partizan just a few days before the conflict started. On the other hand, Hapoel convincingly defeated Cedevita Olimpija 100-73. The next scheduled match for ‘Pride of Israel’ was supposed to be at home against Valencia, but even that encounter is under a huge question mark.
