Bad news awaits the New York Knicks ahead of Game 3 as OG Anunoby will be unable to play due to injury of left hamstring.
The injury occurred in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers when OG Anunoby felt a left hamstring strain. Jalen Brunson is still listed as questionable for the next game due to right foot soreness.
This is just a continuation of problems for Tom Thibodeau’s team as they have already lost Bojan Bogdanovic, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson due to injuries earlier. It’s known that Thibodeau pushes his starters to the maximum, and it seems like it’s taking a toll now. Of course, fatigue shouldn’t be an excuse for these injuries, but most of them have happened during the playoffs when players have already accumulated a lot of minutes on the court.
The next game in the NBA playoffs between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks is scheduled for May 11th at 1:00 AM.
