Ognjen Kuzmic has left Crvena Zvezda and joined FMP, as confirmed on the official website of the club from Zeleznik.
The experienced center, who has won trophies in both the EuroLeague and the NBA during his career, did not have a significant role in the roster of the red-and-whites. Therefore, the decision was made for him to change teams for the remainder of the season.
In the current ABA League season, Ognjen Kuzmic played only two games, averaging 2.5 points and one rebound. In the EuroLeague, he averaged 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
This isn’t the first time Kuzmic has played for FMP, he previously joined the club on loan during the 2019/20 season.
Ognjen Kuzmic has had a rich career, having also played for Unicaja, Joventut, Golden State Warriors, Panathinaikos, and Real Madrid.
FMP recently ended a streak of six consecutive losses in the ABA League and currently holds a record of four wins and nine losses, placing them in the 12th position.
