Duel between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks was arguably the most exciting NBA game last night.
What a game we witnessed in Texas. Oklahoma continued its excellent performance this season. The Thunder dominated the court during the first half, resulting in a 16-point lead after 24 minutes of play. The lead continued to grow in the third quarter, and they entered the last 12 minutes with a 26-point advantage over their opponent. However, an incredible turnaround occurred.
Dallas embarked on a 30-0 scoring run, taking the lead 111-117 in just six minutes of play. It seemed they had the momentum and no chance of squandering their efforts. Yet, that’s exactly what happened. They allowed Oklahoma to regain confidence, and the response came from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the Thunder secured another victory with a score of 120-126.
Jalen Williams was the leading scorer for the winning team with 23 points, while Shai contributed 17 points and nine assists. On the other side, Luka Doncic had a phenomenal performance with 36 points, 15 rebounds, and 18 assists.
This marked Oklahoma’s second consecutive triumph and the 13th of the season, placing them in second position in the West ahead of their clash with Houston. Dallas ranks sixth with 11 wins and will host the Utah Jazz in the next round.
