Midway through the first quarter, AEK displayed improved basketball. However, by the end of the first period, Olympiacos had gained a seven-point advantage. AEK attempted to respond, but the Georgios Bartzokas’ team maintained control, heading into halftime with a ten-point lead.
Olympiacos played exceptionally well in the second half, establishing a 17-point lead at one point. However, AEK didn’t easily concede. Their persistence paid off as they closed the gap to seven points. Nevertheless, the visitors calmly finished the job, securing the triumph.
Kostas Papanikolaou finished the game with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Nikola Milutinov contributed nine points. On the other side, Jordan McRae scored 21 points.
