Olympiacos secured their third consecutive win in the Greek Basket League by defeating Kolossos Rhodes by 102:59.
Olympiacos entered this match following a double round in the EuroLeague and a win over Partizan in Piraeus. In this game, the Greek champions’ squad was without the injured Shaquielle McKissic, Luke Sikma, and Panagiotis Tsamis, while Kolossos’ team was at full strength.
Under the guidance of Georgios Bartzokas, Olympiacos started the game aggressively and, within the first three minutes, had already established a 19-7 lead. By the end of the first quarter, this lead had extended to 14 points.
In the second quarter, the visitors from Piraeus outscored their opponents 23-16, building a commanding 21-point lead going into the halftime break. Alec Peters was unstoppable from beyond the 3-point line in this quarter.
Olympiacos didn’t ease off the gas in the second half either, winning the third quarter 28:10. With a +39 lead going into the final 10 minutes, it was clear that the red and white team would secure their third consecutive league victory.
Alec Peters was the top scorer for the winners with 16 points, followed by Nikola Milutinov with 13. Iosif Koloveros scored 13 for the home team.
