Olympiacos defeated Peristeri on the road by 84:71, securing their place in the Greek Basket League finals (2-0).
Red-and-whites from Piraeus settled the question of the winner as early as the first quarter, which they won 35:13. Although Peristeri played a brilliant second quarter and won it 31:14, Olympiacos had a ready answer already in the third quarter, advancing to 73:60 and thus confirming their passage to the finals.
Nikola Milutinov had a great game with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Alec Peters scored 20 points. Also in double figures were Isaiah Canaan and Kostas Papanikolaou with 11 points each, and Thomas Walkup with 10.
On the losing side, Joe Ragland stood out with 21 points, while Stelios Poulianitis scored 13, and Trevor Thompson contributed 12 points.
In the final, Olympiacos will play against the winner of the series between Panathinaikos and Aris, where the current Euroleague champion leads 1-0 in the series.
