Media outlets across Europe this morning reported Keenan Evans move to Olympiacos, but a quick denial from the Greek giants followed.
The American will surely be a sought-after commodity in the summer. As such, certain Greek and Lithuanian media outlets conveyed information that a deal had been struck between the Red and Whites and Zalgiris’ player. However, that is not the case. The Piraeus-based club has issued a statement regarding this matter.
“The 2023/2024 season is in full swing. Olympiacos will continue its efforts to provide fans with more great moments. Anything written about transfers, signings, plans, and agreements is not accurate,” reads the official statement from Olympiacos’ X account.
For Keenan Evans, this has been a dream season. He is averaging 17.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. Moreover, he has started in all 31 EuroLeague matches he has played.
