Olympiacos defeated Paok with a score of 77-63 in the fifth round of the Greek League, securing their fourth win in the league.
In this game, Georgios Bartzokas couldn’t count on center Nikola Milutinov, in addition to the previously injured Luka Sikma and Shaquille McKissic.
Olympiacos managed to take an early lead of 15-7, but by the end of the quarter, they only scored one more basket. The team from Piraeus was ahead by half a point after the first ten minutes.
In the second quarter, the red and white team played significantly better on defense, resulting in a nine-point lead as they headed into the halftime break.
During the second 20 minutes, Paok managed to threaten a few times, but the visitors from Piraeus sealed the game comfortably with an efficient fourth quarter.
The top scorer for Olympiacos was Kostas Papanikolaou with 17 points, while Laurynas Beliauskas also made a notable contribution.
