Pablo Laso shared his impressions after the conclusion of the 19th round EuroLeague match in which Bayern visited Virtus.
The German team recorded their tenth loss of the season, but surely the head coach of “Bavarians” will not easily reconcile with it, as his team had a +8 lead in the final quarter.
“Firstly, I must congratulate Virtus on the win. I think we played a pretty good game on both ends of the floor, but if you want to beat a team like Virtus, you have to pay attention to every detail. When I say that, I mean every rebound, every turnover, every shot, and when you look at the whole game, I am satisfied with my team’s performance. But to win games like this, we have to be even better,” began the Spanish coach.
“In any case, Virtus is a very good and experienced team, always having the right solutions in their game. It seemed at one point in the second half that we had control of the game, but they managed to draw fouls, as a true veteran team does. Being second in the EuroLeague speaks volumes about how they play this season. As for us, we need to recover as soon as possible and prepare for the next match against Milano on Friday.”
Iffe Lundberg for the win! 💯
