Panathinaikos secured its second win of the season in the Greek Basket League by defeating Peristeri by 66-64.
The first quarter was marked by a lack of efficiency from both teams, with the home team holding a two-point lead after the first ten minutes. Peristeri improved its performance towards the end of the first half and went into halftime with a 12-point advantage.
At the beginning of the second half, Peristeri extended their lead to 18 points. However, the visitors did not give up easily. Gradually, they managed to mount a comeback and equalize the score. The decisive basket that secured the win for their team was made by Mathias Lessort.
Marius Grigonis led Panathinaikos to victory with 20 points, while Nate Renfroe led the home team with 12 points.
A very interesting match took place between Apollon and Aris. The team from Solna secured a 77-70 win on their away game. Roberto Gallinat led his team to triumph with 20 points, while on the other side, Desmond Washington was the top scorer with 22 points.
PAOK won as the visiting team against Maroussi by 80-75. Elvar Fridriksson guided the guests to victory with 22 points, while Charalampos Giannopoulos was the standout performer for the home team with 19 points. Stefan Peno and Miroslav Raduljica each contributed 13 points.
