Paris defeated Cholet 74:62 in the decisive third game of the LNB Pro A quarterfinals on their home court.
Cholet surprised the EuroCup champion in the first game of the quarterfinal series, ending Paris’s 25-game winning streak. However, this setback didn’t faze Paris much. They won the next game on the road and then clinched the decisive third game at home to advance to the semifinals.
Paris consistently led and controlled the pace of the game. Although they didn’t manage to break away decisively, Cholet also failed to pose a significant challenge to Paris, thus ending their hopes of reaching the semifinals. Paris will face Asvel in the semifinals, while the other pair consists of Monaco and Bourg.
Nadir Hifi led Paris in the decisive game with 22 points, followed by TJ Shorts with 13, and Tyson Ward with 12 points.
Among the guests, veteran Kim Tillie was the most effective, scoring 11 points, while Czech player Vojtech Hruban contributed eight points.
