Paris has leveled the series 1-1 against Monaco with a 77:70 win on the road in the LNB Pro A finals.
In the first quarter, it was evident what would follow as Tuomas Iisalo’s team took control with a 25:11 lead. However, the home team managed to stage a comeback. With an extremely aggressive defense, they limited the guests to only 13 points in the second quarter, closing the gap.
From that point on, the game was evenly matched in Fontvielle, and neither team could establish a significant lead. However, Paris managed to pull ahead, largely thanks to the outstanding performance of Nadir Hifi. Despite Monaco’s guards’ efforts to contain the explosive guard, Hifi proved elusive. He particularly shone in the fourth quarter, breaking the resistance of Sasa Obradovic’s team with a three-pointer and sealing the win for the visitors.
Nadir Hifi led the scoring with 24 points, while T. J. Shorts added 21. On the other side, Elie Okobo led the home team with 15 points.
The finals series now moves to Paris, where the champion will be determined by the first team to win three games.
