Paris has started the semifinal series of the LNB Pro A with a win against Asvel, winning 94:81 on their home court.
Paris played an excellent first quarter, ending it with a 33:11 lead. The visiting team managed to respond in the second quarter, but Paris maintained a 50:39 lead at halftime.
In the second half, there were no similar scoring runs, and Paris held onto their lead to secure the win.
Collin Malcolm led Paris in scoring with 18 points, followed by T.J. Shorts with 14 and Medhy Ngouama with 13 points. For Asvel, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot was the top scorer with 22 points, while Joffrey Lauvergne recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
In the other semifinal, Monaco defeated Bourg 85:72 in the first game.
