In the 26th round of the ABA League, Partizan convincingly defeated Zadar by 113:74, securing the second spot on the table before the start of the playoffs.
The black and whites faced Zadar without Ognjen Jaramaz and Uros Trifunovic, who were excluded from the lineup by the coach’s decision.
The hosts started the game better, initiating an 8:2 run in the early stages, but the guests managed to equalize with two successful three-pointers. At one point, Danijel Jusup’s team even took a slight lead, but Partizan closed the first quarter with a 10:0 run, leading 20:11.
The black and whites soon gained a double-digit advantage in the continuation, but Zadar responded with an 8:2 run, narrowing the gap to four points (28:24). Zeljko Obradovic’s team swiftly reacted with a 13-point streak, extending their lead to 17 points. The Croatian team managed to slightly reduce the deficit before halftime, trailing 55:41.
