The recent player of the Los Angeles Clippers, Paul George, has chosen where he will continue his career, after parting ways with the aforementioned team.
George, as it was announced, agreed to a four-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, so he will join Joel Embiid.
The great shooting guard will collect $212 million during that time, and the contract includes a player option in the final year, in the 2027/28 season.
That the Philadelphia 76ers wanted George very much is also shown by the details of the key meeting, which is written by ESPN. In addition to player and agent Aaron Mintz, he was joined by Eastern Conference team owner Josh Harris, president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, general manager Elton Brand and team legend Julius Erving.
The Philadelphia 76ers even brought in a man from the front office, Peter Dinwiddie, who is a well-known face to George, since they know each other from the time spent in the Indiana Pacers.
George averaged 23 points, six rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the Los Angeles Clippers jersey over the past five seasons in the NBA.
