Paul George, the forward for the Los Angeles Clippers, has been fined for criticizing the referees after the game against the Denver Nuggets.
The American will contribute $35,000 to the NBA league’s budget. This was announced by Joe Dumars, the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the premier basketball league in the world. The fine is of this magnitude due to the former Indiana Pacers player’s history of criticizing referees.
Paul George voiced his criticisms after the loss to the Denver Nuggets at the Ball Arena, where they were defeated 111-108.
“I think we played great, but it’s tough playing against another three. They were terrible, but they are the reigning champions, and we have to play better. I got hit so many times on layups, three-point shots, it was constant. They did a poor job.”
Popular PG13 and the Clippers are currently in a significant slump in terms of results. Since James Harden arrived in Los Angeles, they haven’t experienced a win in six consecutive games.
