The Greek team struggled to find their rhythm only during the first five minutes of the game, after which they began to dominate their opponent furiously. Peristeri led for over 35 minutes, resulting in a convincing win. The largest lead in the game was also the final one – plus 28.
The home team was led to win by the outstanding performance of Joe Ragland with 21 points, while Glynn Watson and Till Pape stood out for Bonn with 13 points each.
The decisive game will take place next Tuesday starting at 6:00 PM.
Tofas secured a win over Tenerife at home by 90:81, also leveling the series (1:1).
The Turkish team dominated for most of the game, leading by as much as plus 18, but the outcome was only decided in the fourth quarter. The game was marked by the outstanding performance of Kyle Guy, who scored 17 points in the first 10 minutes of play alone. He finished the game with 34 points, but even that wasn’t enough for Tenerife to secure a win.
Caleb Homesley led Tofas to this crucial triumph with 26 points, while J.J. O’Brien added 21. Cassius Winston finished the game with 19 points with just one missed shot from the field.
The decisive game will be played in Spain next Tuesday.
