Poland could be getting a new naturalized teammate, as reported by journalist Chema de Lucas, and that’s Kyle Guy.
The Poles want to bring in a new naturalized player, and Kyle Guy is the name on top of their list, according to the Spanish journalist.
The American started the season with Panathinaikos but didn’t quite fit in Athens. He quickly switched Greece for Spain, becoming a member of Tenerife, with whom he will play in the Final Four of the FIBA Champions League in Belgrade.
As a reminder, Igor Milicic recently mentioned in an interview for Basketball Sphere that naturalization is in progress. It’s not unfamiliar for Poland to do so, as A.J. Slaughter played for them until recently.
Poland will compete in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Valencia. If they advance from the group, which also includes Finland and the Bahamas, they could face the host, Spain, Latvia, or Angola.
