Predrag Stojakovic, former representative of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, has been inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame for the year 2024.
Predrag Stojakovic led his country to gold at the FIBA World Championship in 2002, as well as at the FIBA EuroBasket in 2001, where he was crowned MVP. He won the NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2001 and was named an NBA All-Star three times during his career.
He is not the only European included, as legendary figures of women’s basketball Skaidrite Smildzina-Budovska from Latvia and Danira Nakic-Bilic from Croatia have also been selected for the upcoming class of the Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is scheduled for September in Singapore.
